Gala Health guides
Weight Loss Online, GLP-1 and Daily Habits, Explained From Public Sources
Gala Health writes short guides for readers in the United States. Each one takes a single question, sets out what federal agencies and published research say about it, and links to the page it came from, so you can read the original for yourself.
Three ways into these guides
- Start with your question. The guides are grouped into three shelves below. Each card says in one line what the guide covers.
- Read the summary box first. Every guide opens with a short box of the main points. The rest of the page explains them.
- Check the original. The links at the end of each guide go straight to the agency or journal page we used, with the date we read it.
Four figures that come up again and again
Online Weight Loss & GLP-1
What GLP-1 is in the body, how online programs are built, and the questions on cost and renewal worth asking before you sign up.
Weight Management
A measurable first goal, a plate built on the newest federal guidelines, and a food diary that also records how you felt.
Health & Wellness
Telling moderate from vigorous activity, building up from short walks, and the role of sleep and stress in everyday eating.
Where the information comes from
- Each guide is built from public pages by NIDDK (part of the National Institutes of Health), the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, the Federal Trade Commission, the Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2025–2030, and one review article on GLP-1 in the journal Molecular Metabolism (2019).
- We report what those pages say and the date we read them. Where we work out a number ourselves, the guide says so.
- The guides carry no affiliate links and do not name or price any program or product.
